This agreement outlines the responsibilities of the Buyer and the Seller, Ottant American Bullies, regarding the purchase and ongoing care of a puppy.

Refunds & Returns The Buyer understands that there are no refunds, returns, or transferable guarantees. The puppy is sold in good health as determined by the Seller and/or a licensed veterinarian. The Buyer agrees to provide a safe and suitable home.

Veterinarian Exam The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of receipt. A stool analysis is also required at the Buyer’s expense. Common ailments such as Giardia or Coccidia are not covered for reimbursement.

Vaccination Guidance The puppy is up to date with vaccinations. Refrain from vaccinating the puppy within the first ten days unless advised by a veterinarian.

Growth & Development The Buyer agrees not to overfeed or over-exercise the puppy during the early growth period, especially if the breed is prone to hip or patella issues.

20-Day Viral Guarantee If a viral illness is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within 20 days of possession, the Buyer may be eligible for up to 100% reimbursement of the puppy’s purchase price (excluding shipping and fees). Claims are subject to approval by HPPI and must be filed as per HPPI’s process.

Health Commitment The Buyer agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and veterinary checkups. Any failure to provide evidence of care may void this guarantee. Spaying/neutering is encouraged.

Sales for Companion Purposes This puppy is sold as a companion animal, not for commercial breeding. No guarantees on size, weight, breed accuracy, or temperament are offered.

Exclusions & Limitations This guarantee does not cover issues caused by injury, neglect, or exposure to other pets. Conditions not covered include (but are not limited to):

  • Cherry Eye

  4. If needed, a necropsy must be performed by a licensed pathologist at the Buyer’s expense.

If severe dysplasia is diagnosed within 30 days, a 100% credit for another puppy will be issued. All medical bills are the Buyer’s responsibility.

Replacement Policy If a replacement puppy is refused within 30 days, the Seller holds no further obligation.

Breed-Specific Limitation English Bulldogs and Bulldog mixes are only covered under a 1-year limited health guarantee. Common Bulldog-related issues are excluded.
